This band was one of the pioneers of Finnish Black Metal in the early '90's along with their brother band Beherit. This particular release is not far removed from Beherit's "Drawing Down the Moon" album. This re- release will feature a different layout and re-mastered, all by the band personally.

It is said that Beherit's "Drawing Down the Moon" album would sound quite different had it not been for Black Crucifixion.
